Kakching gets share of UK aid

Kakching, May 17 2021:
With the support of other Manipuris and his friends from other parts of India living in UK; Dr Bishwajeet Elangbam, who is working as NHS emergency medicine consultant at West Birmingham, United Kingdom, has sent aid to be used in treatment of Covid -19 patients in the state.
Of the various items sent by Dr Bishwajeet for RIMS, JNIMS and other district hospitals, Kakching district received aid worth Rs 1 lakh, including 100 Ringers Lactate (R/L) vial, 100 Normal Saline (N/S) vials, 200 Dexona injection vials, 100 IV set, 100 IV Cannula, 100 oxygen masks, 125 Flixtors, 50 N95 masks and 1000 triple layer masks.
The consignment which reached Kakching on Monday was handed over to chief medical officer Dr Th Rajen through district family welfare officer/district immunisation officer Kakching Dr Haobam Surjitkumar.
