Imphal, May 30 2023:
Janata Dal (United) has held the BJP government responsible for the unwant-ed Incidents occurring in Manipur since outbreak of the communal clash on May 3.Janata Dal (United) na-tional general secretary and in-charge of North- East - ern states Afaque Ahmad Khan, who is also member of Bihar Legislative Council, said that history is witness that whenever BJP's hold gets weak in a state, violent incidents increases there.
Today the same is being re-peated in Manipur, Afaque Ahmad said, adding that the ruling BJP government's communal politics is solely responsible for the present unrest in Manipur.
In view of the anger growing in the public against the govern-ment, the BJP is making two communities fight with each other there, he alleged.
"So far hundreds of people have died in this conflict.
While according to local witnesses, dead people are much more than what has been reported.
Thousands of families had to leave their homes and run away to far-off places.
Children's edu-cation has suffered, people's business has collapsed, but RIP is still not ready to wake up," Ahmad maintained.
Targeting the BP leaders, he said that, in states like Bihar, Jharkhand and Ra-jasthan even when there is a normal criminal incident the BJP people start beating their chest, but even after gruesome violence in Ma-nipur, Modi-Shah duo did not even uttered words of sympathy for the people of Manipur.
The Modi-Shah duo also did not take any initiative regarding the students of Bi-har who were suffering from hunger and thirst due to the government's faulty policy, he said.
On the other hand, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar showed concern by sending special aircraft to Manipur and bringing the students of Bihar safely back to Bihar, he added.
Ahmed Khan also sought answer from the BJP as to what was the fault of the people of Manipur and why the sympathy of their lead-ers is not with the people of Manipur.
JD (U) general secretary said that the way 13.113 has destroyed peace of a beau-tiful state like Manipur by creating rift between communities, today they are trying unsuccessfully to do the same experiment in Bihar.
The recent inci-dents in Bihar were not a coincidence, but a deliberate experiment of BP leader's politics of hatred, division and greed for power.
Like in Manipur, there were a lot of attempts to set fire, which was thwarted by the vigilance of the Bihar gov-ernment and the police ad-ministration, he informed.
"Let the BJP know that the days of their frenzied politics are over.
The lat-est example of which is the results of the Karnataka As-sembly elections," Ahmad Khan said.
