Meira paibi activists clarify on Jiribam rally

Various women's organisations of Jiribam have clarified that no meira paibi activist from Jiribam participated in the recent rallies at Uchathol, Harinagar and Bidyanagar.
Addressing a joint press meet of meira paibi leaders held at Jiri News Network conference hall, Babupara here on Wednesday, All Jiribam Meira Paibi (AJMP) president S Susila Devi stated that meira paibi activists had no connection with the rallies taken out on March 12.They are coming out with the clarification little late as there was no mobile network and received the news in this regard very late, she explained.
S Susila reiterated that no AJMP member took part in the rally which was reportedly presented as meira paibi rally.
On the other liand, Women's Welfare Organisation Kangleipak (WWOK) president Th Thoibi Devi stated that the organisation was not in any way connected to the said rallies.
Similarly, Jiribam Ima Women Association of Kangleipak secretary H Rina Devi mentioned that the Association did not take part in the rallies and condemned the use of meira paibi's name for the rallies.
The press conference was also attended by AJMP general secretary Th Yamini Devi and joint secretary Ksh Chanchan.
