AR organises lecture, security meet

Imphal, July 23 2022:
Mantripukhri Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) organised an awareness lecture on Indian National Flag at Sawombung, Imphal East district today.
The programme was conducted to spread awareness of the National flag as a symbol of pride, hope and aspiration for the people, said a statement of IGAR(S).
A total of 58 students and locals attended the event.
Keithelmanbi Battalion also conducted similar lectures on "Indian National Flag" at Imphal West and Bishnupur district today.
As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Sajik Tampak Battalion also organised a lecture on "Battle of Imphal and Join Indian Army" at Sajik Tampak, Chandel district.
Moreover, Sajik Tampak Battalion also conducted a security meeting at Sajik Tampak village on July 23.It was attended by presidents and secretaries of Kana Chief Association, Kana Student Organisation, Zou Sangnaopang Pawlpi, United Zou Organisation, village heads and villagers of the Kana Area.
During the meet, participants were briefed on the ongoing security situation in the Kana Area.
Holistic development of the area and steps required to synergise the efforts of locals and Assam Rifles for its advancement were also discussed.
The participants were also advised to keep an eye on their respective villages, flag any nefarious activities carried out by insurgents and assist the security forces.
