Rates of essential commodities revised

Imphal, May 11 2021:
The state government on Tuesday declared the latest revised rates of essential commodities for grocery shops in markets and localities in Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Bishnupur and Kakching districts.
As per an order dated May 10 issued by CAF&PD commissioner Bobby Waikhom, retail rate for Matar (Mangal) has been fixed at Rs 75 per kg and Matar (Kangtak) at Rs 78 per kg.
Retail rates per kg for other commodities are Potato (Rs 18), Onion (Rs 33), Sugar (Rs 47), Masoor/Mussorie (Rs 80-Rs 100), Atta (Rs 30), Maida (Rs 35), Tagore mustard oil (Rs 2450 per 15 litres), Palm oil (Rs 2220 per 15 litres), Mairongbi (Rs 100-Rs 120), Mung Dal (Rs 120), Refined Oil (Rs 2400 per 15 litres), Sagol Hawai (Rs 105-Rs 125), Rice permal (Rs 47), UP Rice (Rs 44), Garlic (Rs 120 - Rs 140), and dried Red Chilli (Rs 230).The order also informed that retail rate for Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts shall be Re 1 per kg above the retail rate provided by the government.
