World Cancer Day observed

Along with the observance of World Cancer Day with cancer warriors, Chhabi Sahayog Foundation (CSF), an influential cancer care NGO of Navi Mumbai, celebrated its 3rd foundation day at Navi Mumbai on Monday.
CSF Manipur Prant advisor Sumanta Thokchom informed that CSF, its partner Dev Desh Vaidyakiya Shaikshanik Samajik Pratishthan (DDVSSP) along with ASRSS Cancer centre observed World Cancer Day by organising a breast cancer awareness programme at Ashok Singhal Rugna Seva Sadan (ASRSS), Mumbai.
Nayna D Kanal, who is a breast cancer survivor and founder of NGO Pahile Majhe Kartavya Foundation (PMKF), took part in the event as an associate.
The gathering was made aware on breast cancer in minute detail by Vishaka Pawar of PMKF.
The awareness camp was attended by over 300 cancer patients and caregivers.
As a part of the foundation day celebration, CSF and partner DDVSSP organised a breast cancer camp in association with Stri Shakti Mahila Samajik Sangstha(SSMSS) Navi Mumbai near CSF centre (at Juinagar) in Navi Mumbai.
In all, 99 women participated in the cancer screening camp, Sumanta Thokchom informed, while adding that the foundation day was also attended by Dev Desh Prat isthan Dr Vaibhav R Deogirkar and Chhabi Sahayog chairman Rahul Pathare.
