MLA assures to blacktop Kakching roads

Stating that many of the roads in Kakching assembly constituency nave been left unattended for the last 14-15 years consequently leading to their dilapidation, MLA M Rameshwar has assured of blacktopping all the roads in Kakching before lapse of his five-year term.
MLA Rameshwar handed over the Kakching Mayai Leikai Pat stretch road which was repaired using Paver Block Technology and Kakching Sumak Leikai Yotshungbam road to the public on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters, MLA Rameshwar described condition of roads in Kakching AC as deplorable as they have been left untended for the last 13-14 years.
The dilapidated roads have been repaired using Paver Block Technology along with taking up blacktopping of the roads.
He further informed that roads in Sora extending to around 3km, Irengband (2km) and Pallel (2.5km) have been blacktopped under funding from Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) with the help of chief minister N Biren.
