Nightoupham village appeals

Land Owners' Committee, M Nightoupham village in Senapati district has appealed for a peaceful atmosphere during the construction of the proposed HIT at the village.
In a statement issued by its chairman in the wake of monetary demand made by certain groups, the Committee said that the land owners in the interest of the public and students had donated an area of 150 acres of land for construction of HIT at M Ningthoupham village in the year 2016.However, due to certain factors, construction works remain incomplete till date.
The construction was taken up under the initiative of chief minister N Biren Singh although final approval is yet to be given, it further said.
The Committee then appealed to all organisations not to disturb the construction work and sought cooperation from all in ensuring quality control and to complete the work in time so that the institution starts functioning without delay.
