Agencies urged to complete airport projects

Airports Authority of India (AAI), Imphal International Airport celebrated the 28th AAA annual day at Air Traffic Services Complex, International Airport, here, on Saturday.
In a release, AAI, Imphal stated that it was constituted by an Act of Parliament and came into being on April 1, 1995 and has been entrusted with the responsibility of creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing civil aviation infrastructure both on the ground and air space in the country.
In his address on the occasion, AAI, Imphal director Chipemmi Keishing emphasised on the development of Imphal airport and called upon all stakeholders to complete ongoing projects like construction of new integrated terminal building, construction of new integrated cargo terminal building and hanger, expansion of turn pad for accommodating Boeing 777 at Imphal Airport, improvement of passenger services and replacement and commission of the new Instrument Landing System and DVOR, in a time bound manner, it added.
