KCP clarifies on Napet Palli incident

The three individuals involved in molesting a young girl from Risophung village at Napet Palli on December 24 have no relation, whatsoever, with the KCP and the party will initiate suitable action against the trio for misusing and maligning image of the organisation, said S Mangal, the outfit's member-in-charge of Information & Publicity.
In a statement issued late last evening, Mangal said that the KCP takes serious view of the accused trio's claim that they are KCP activists.
Asserting that the accused persons namely Tensubam Amitkumar alias Amit alias Naocha (18) s/o T Lamphel, Ngangom Chandra (21) s/o Ng Prem and Khaidem Sanahal alias Bungo (18) s/o Kh Joytomba, all from Napet Palli localities, are not KCP activists/members, the member-in-charge also hailed vigilant women activists of Nongren village for saving the victim girl and contributing their mites in apprehending the accused persons.
Stating that KCP is gratified by the swift and impartial conduct of both the women activists and local villagers, Mangal affirmed appropriate punitive action against the guilty trio would be initiated as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, a KCP statement issued by its general secretary H Poirei confirmed appointment of S Mangal as the party's information and Publicity member-in-charge with immediate effect.
Poirei also informed that an interim central committee of the party was constituted on December 2, 2012 .
