Dimapur, March 28 2015 :
An emergency meeting was held on Saturday at the NSCN (K)'s Cease Fire Supervisory Board (CFSB) office in Mon District of Nagaland under the leadership of Y Wangtin Naga and P Tikhak which was attended by host of "senior kilonsers, deputy kilonsers, CCM, central secretaries, army officers and regional authorities" and deliberated at length the ceasefire with the Government of India.
The meeting followed the abrogation of cease-fire between the NSCN (K) and the Government of India by Chairman SS Khaplang.
The deliberation unanimously resolved to disapprove the "unilateral decision" of Khaplang to abrogate the ceasefire.
"He never consulted his council of kilonsers and his army officers before taking such a drastic step.
The house therefore strongly disapproves of his unilateral decision and has decided to continue the cease-fire with the Government of India under the leadership of senior kilonser Y Wangtin Naga and P Tikhak.
Khaplang has no authority to withdraw the ceasefire from the Indian side while he keeps enjoying cease-fire with the Union of Myanmar," said the NSCN (K) now apparently headed by Wangtin Naga in a statement Saturday evening.
NSCN (K) under the leadership of Y Wangtin Naga and P Tikhak also strongly condemned the attack on the security forces during the ceasefire period and other NPGs by "Khaplang boys" .
"Violence has never served a good purpose.
The Naga political problem can be resolved through peace and negotiation" and not through military intervention, said Wangtin group.
The meeting decided to stand by senior leaders Y Wangtin Naga and P Tikhak to promote peace and reconciliation among the Naga family.
More meetings among the national workers from different regions of Nagaland, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh will be held in the next couple of days, said the statement.
