Infamy at Sangai fest, assault slur on Nasir

Yet another case of infamy was staged inside the venue of the ongoing Sangai State Festival, when Agriculture Minister Md Nasir allegedly assaulted a member of the Youth Congress, Alam Azad there today evening.
According to Alam Azad, he was eating at a foodstall when Md Nasir came shouting 'Do you know who I am ?' and assaulted him.
However a worker of the Minister said that the incident occured when Alam Azad passed derogatory words against the Minister while he (Nasir) was inspecting the food stalls this evening as a special invitee.
The incident occurred inside Food Stall No 58 around 7pm.The festival venue was swiftly turned to a 'drama' .
According to sources, Congress worker Alam Azad, along with Youth Congress president Amir Hussain, Parliamentary Secretary Amin Shaha and MOBC officials were dining at a food stall.

The Minister came and attacked the Congress worker unprovoked moments after Amin Shah left the place.
The Minister's escorts assaulted onlookers who interfered to pacify the Minister.
Meanwhile, talking to reporters later, Congress worker Alam Azad strongly condemned the 'uncalled for' behaviour of the minister and demanded his the authority to immediately remove the minister from his post.
Subsequent to the incident, the stall where the incident happened was pillaged badly.
The Minister's worker on the other hand said that after Alam Azad verbally attacked the Minister, the other workers of the Minister intervened and a minor scuffle broke out between the workers and Alam Azad.
