Don't disturb schools call rung out

The Director of Education (S) Th Kirankumar has appealed to all those concerned to facilitate a peaceful academic atmosphere in the backdrop of the issues concerning Catholic schools in the State.
He also appealed all those concerned to refrain from any activities which could harm the innocent students.
Speaking to media persons at SSA Office Babupara today, Th Kirankumar said that there have been certain serious issues and problems in some schools in and around Imphal run by the Catholic Educational Society arising out of admission in these schools and added that the Department, in view of the thousands of students enrolled in these schools, views the development very gravely.

As such, he appealed to all those concerned to ensure a peaceful academic atmosphere and to refrain from any activities which can harm the innocent students.
On the other hand, he said that efforts are being made to declare the Class X and XII examination results before the usual timing/schedule.
He also added that an expert committee has been formed and the said committee has already held two or three sitting regarding the appointment of Thang-Ta teachers and a recommendation will be sent to the authorities concerned at the earliest.
The Director also said that the non availability of books in the State has almost been solved as no long queues are seen nowadays in front of the book stores.
