Imphal, April 25 2017:
The proscribed PREPAK will observe the fourth 'Indian Colonialism Resist Day' tomorrow at its CHQs, GHQs, THQs, transit camps, training centres and other departments.
A statement issued by the outfit's publicity and propaganda secretary in-charge LeibaakNgaakpa Luwang called upon all the people of the land to raise a collective voice of resistance against the alien forces and their excesses on the 'Indian Colonialism Resist Day' .
People of Kangleipak have been suffering untold misery for the past many decades on account of the repressive measures unleashed by the alien rule which believe that their 'colonial objectives' can be achieved through military power.
One event which gave a fillip to the revolutionary movement was the Patsoi Langjing Khunou incident of April 26, 1980, said the outfit.
At around 9.15 am of the day, some Red Army cadres of the outfit killed two CRPF personnel and confiscated two weapons at Langjing foothill.
In retaliation, CRPF killed four civilians in addition to subjecting a number of people including women and aged persons to severe torture.
CRPF personnel also raped many women.
Bino who was then already seven months was one of the victims shot dead by CRPF.
Again, Lourembam Angou of Patsoi Part 2 who was then working as a driver of Imphal Municipal Council was halted by CRPF personnel and shot dead at Langjing foothill, PREPAK said.
In remembrance of the extreme repressive measures unleashed by the Indian military upon the people of Kangleipak on April 26, 1980, PREPAK would be observing the fourth 'Indian Colonialism Resist Day' tomorrow so that the brutality of the alien forces are etched clearly in the history of the people and people take firm decision to take the right path to revolution.
It further called upon the people to raise a collective slogan 'Go back Indian military forces' .
