Imphal, November 21 2012:
Sanahanbi Devi, mother of Mumbai terror attack victim Maibam Bimolchandra was carrying out her normal household works at her Khurai Ningthoubing Leikai residence today morning when she was informed about the hanging of Kasab.
She was totally unaware of the death penalty awarded on Ajmal Kasab much less know about the death sentence being carried out.
When informed about Kasab's death, an emotional Sanahanbi reacted "his (Kasab) death gives me hope today.
All terrorists, who are the enemies of mankind, should be wiped out from the earth.
"I would have been more satisfied if only I could have seen the execution.
I was praying for his death since the day, the innocent people including my son were killed by the terrorits," Sanahanbi (55) said.
Bimolchandra (30) was among the group of people gunned down by the terrorists at the ground floor of Hotel Oberoi where he worked as manager on the night of November 26, 2008 .
The bloody attack left 166 people killed.
Sadly Bimochandra's father Maibam Nando, died of cardiac arrest in January this year.
The untimely demise of Nando has only added to the trauma of his wife and lone daughter Sandhyarani Devi.
Sandhyarani, who was recently appointed as a Government primary teacher under SSA, said she was also glad with Kasab's hanging.
"But I feel sad for the innocent family members of Kasab.
Let his death change the mind of other terrorists to join the mainstream and bring peace in the whole universe," she said.
In his son's memory Nando, who worked as a muster roll employee in Manipur public works department, had built a three-storied building and organized a football tournament.
Significantly the house, which was inaugurated in 2009, still remains empty as it was built for giving accommodation to late Bimol's friends coming from far flung places.
Bimol had frequently promised to build a new house in 2009 and get married in 2010 and his first promise has been implemented, said Sanahanbi emotionally.
"We are observing the fourth Phiroi for my son in a low key at BijoyGovinda temple ," Sanahanbi said.
