Remand for 2 in bazar blast case

Imphal, November 20 2019:
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal West, today, remanded two individuals allegedly involved in the November 5 Thangal Bazar blast to judicial today.
The Court also remanded 2 other individuals in connection with the same case to 6 days in police custody.
The first two individuals, Nongthongbam Ishorchandra alias Naocha (22) s/o Rajendro and Paonam (o) Bahen Devi, both from Tentha Tuwaband Leikai, were produced before the Court following the completion of police remand today and the Court, after going through the case records and the prayer of the Io, remanded them to judicial custody till December 4 .
At the same time, two more accused identified as Kumam Chandani Devi (26) d/o (L) Ibochou and Takhellabam (o) Irom Jibanlata alias Bemma (19) w/o T Malemnganba, both from Ningthoukhong Kha Khunou, Ward No IV, were produced before the Court along with a prayer for six days police custody remand.
The IO submitted that the two women were arrested yesterday in connection with a different case at Patsoi PS but they were earlier produced before the Court of JMIC, Imphal West, today and formally arrested in connection with the Thangal Bazar blast case.
CJM Imphal West, satisfied with the police prayer, remanded the two women to 6 days police custody till November 25 .
