3 AR men hurt in serial blasts

Imphal, April 20 2016:
At least three Assam Rifles jawans were injured in five successive bomb blasts that occurred close to the Indo-Myanmar border town of Moreh today morning.
Meanwhile, a joint meeting of various communities' representatives held today decided to impose a 12-hour bandh from 6 am tomorrow at Moreh and Imphal-Moreh highway to protest the serial blasts.
According to a source, five IEDs exploded in quick succession near the 11 AR post located near T Minou this morning around 6.50.Three personnel of Assam Rifles were reportedly hurt in the blasts.
The injured AR men have been identified as Naik Subedar Puskar Singh Rawat, Hav S Kajor and rifleman Bipul Biswas.
They were not critically injured.
A meeting attended by leaders of MCM, MMCM, Tamil Sangam held later at HTC office, Moreh strongly condemned the blasts.
The meeting also decided to impose a 12-hour bandh in and around Moreh and Imphal-Moreh highway from 6am tomorrow.
