Medical Camp at Hollengjang

Imphal, December 11 2018:
The lack of medical infrastructure in the remote village of Hollengjang and Tuijang deprives the locals of basic medical care, which has resulted in various diseases which could have been cured by basic medical attention.
Jhoupi Batallion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(South) conducted a Medical Camp under 'op Sadbhavna at Hollengjang and Tuijang village on 10 December 2018 .
The medical staff of Jhoupi Batallion Assam Rifles provided free medical aid and medicines to the needy people of Hollengjang and Tuijang villages.
A total of 124 people comprising 14 male, 46 female, 62 children and 02 senior citizens were given medical aid.
Conduct of such medical camps at remote villages has strengthened ties between the villagers and the Security Forces and provided them with much needed relief.
The relentless endeavor of 29 Assam Rifles in providing a healing touch to the villagers of Hollengjang and Tuijang vill was widely appreciated by all.
The gesture will also go a long way in promoting peace and harmony between the local and security forces in the years to come.
