Visitor to Moreh tests positive at B'lore

Imphal, April 11 2020:
A 66 year old man from Karnataka who visited Moreh town on a business trip tested positive for COVID-19 after he went back to Bengaluru.
According to information received from the State Health Department, the man left Manipur on March 12 and reached Bengaluru in an Indigo flight via Kolkata.
The man who stayed at Hotel South Indian Restaurant, Moreh Ward No 3 visited Cosmopolitan, a clinic located at Moreh town in connection with a health complaint.
After the man reached Bengaluru, he tested positive for COVID-19 on April 8 .
The man is currently undergoing treatment at Bangalore Baptist Hospital and his condition is said to be critical, conveyed the source.
Meanwhile, 19 individuals including staff of Cosmopolitan Clinic and relatives of the man who have been living at Moreh have been picked up today.
The 19 individuals have been taken to RIMS and they would be tested for COVID-19 .
On the other hand, Indian Air Force aircraft C-17 (Globe Master) brought three tonnes of PPE, N-95 masks and hand gloves to Imphal today.
