IM rolls back restrictions

Imphal, October 09 2011:
Following interventions from the United Naga Council and Tangkhul Naga Long as well as apologies tendered by the family members, the NSCN (IM) has rolled back the restrictions placed on burying the mortal remains of Phungyar AC MLA, Wungnaoshang Keishing at his native place.
In a statement, the outfit said, "Notwithstanding the restrictions for burial in Nagalim, the mortal remains of late Wungnaoshang Keishing, ex-MLA, on the intervention of UNC and TNL, the family members of the deceased having admitted to the mistakes committed by him against the Naga Nation and the Naga people and thereby tendering due apology for forgiveness, the Government of the People's Republic of Nagalim hereby absolve the said strictures" .
