KKL defends Dr Ranjan's statement

Defending the statement made by MP Dr RK Ranjan on 29th August celebrating 73rd year of Laining Ngaksenba Numit'organised by Phamthou 64 and Pana Loishang Kangleipak Kanba Lup states that the word 'Anam Aha chuba" doesn't effect the Unity in diversity, Communal or any religious belief.
Stating in a press statement signed by Media Secretary of KKL Yumjao, he said that there is a concrete historical fact and evidence or as rather the history of Kangleipak have shown that 3000 years ago, the Hindu Dharma was introduced by then King Pamheiba in 1709 when all the Meeteis were forcefully converted to Hindu, so (affliction of mind) was and is still prevailing till date.
The Kangleipak Kanba Lup asserted that Democracy means right to freedom of speech, right to freedom of expression, etc.
as it is part and parcel of the constitution.
He further stated that the so called All Manipur Dharma Rakshak Samiti should not blame the MP regarding his statement made on that occasion for what he said was historically right to the very best of every Kangleicha's knowledge.
Literally, what Dr Ranjan said was that it is truly the right time now for the people of Kangleipak to rise, awake and lead the light for the future generation as time is running out.
All Manipur Dharma Rakshak Samitii should therefore clarify the matter for it is they who is inflicting Communal feelings among the general populace, he added.
