Slain personnel identified, post mortem conducted

Post mortem examinations of all the 18 personnel of 6 Dogra Regiment, who were killed in an ambush near Paraolon village yesterday, were conducted at JNIMS morgue today.
The bodies were brought to the morgue from Leimakhong Army hospital and ambush site last night.
The deceased personnel have been identified as Naib Subedar Ram (39) s/o Babu Ram of Swankha More village in Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir, Havildar Prakash Chand (36) s/o (L) Manghru Ram of Sion village in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, Havildar Sat Pal Bhasin (39) s/o Bishan Dass of Muthi village, Jammu, Havildar Sunil Kumar Sharma (33) s/o Ramesh Chand Sharma of Phal village in Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir, Havildar Rajesh Kumar (34) s/o Joginder Singh of Hirapur village in Bilaspur district, Himachal Pradesh, Havildar Randeep Singh (38) Pushap of Bomal village in Jammu, Naib Ashok Kumar (35) s/o Baldev of Daskana village in Sirmour district, Himachal Pradesh, Lance Naik Rajneesh Singh (34) s/o Khushi Ram of Muhin village in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, Sepoy (HK) Ram Prasad Yadav (39) s/o Ram Yadav of Salarpur village in Faizabad district (UP), Lance Naik Kuldeep Raj (33) s/o (L) Kaku Ram of Jammu, Sepoy Manoj Kumar (31) s/o Nagendra of Maseran village in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, Sepoy Vijay Kumar (27) s/o Dewan Chand of Seah village, Jammu, Sepoy Vijay Bhardwaj (26) s/o Sukh Dev of Pantu village in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, Seppy Sohan Singh (26) s/o Sham Singh of Manpur Devra in Sirmour district, Himachal Pradesh, Cfn (VM) Bharateshwar P (31) s/o Rayaappa of Maigoor village in Belgaum district, Karnataka, Havildar Jagveer Singh (39) s/o Shiv Shankar of Murad Garh village in GB Nagar (UP) and Sepoy Manjit Singh (26) s/o Rakesh Chand of Akhwana village in Pathankot (Punjab) and driver Sepoy Jeetendra Kumar Kushwaha (39) s/o Hoti Singh of Farahadi village in Rewa district, Madhya Pradesh.
Body of driver Sepoy Jeetendra Kumar Kushwaha has been sent to his native village after giving full military honour today.
Bodies of other personnel would be sent to their native villages tomorrow.
Tengnoupal police have taken up a case regarding yesterday's ambush under FIR number 14 (6) 2015 Tengnoupal police station under 302/ 307/120-B 121 A IPC and 25(I-C) Arms Act and 5 Explosive Substance Act and 16/20 UA (P) A Act.
The body of the suspected militant is lying at JNIMS morgue.
