Imphal, December 04 2011:
Consequent upon the investigation instituted in connection with the abduction of KT Joseph, personal assistant to Education Minister DD Thaisii at the behest of expelled Kilonser Peter, the members found culpable of the crime have been dishonourably terminated from the national service with immediate effect, informed a public notice issued by MIP of NSCN/GPRN (K) .
The identities of the abductors were notified as Peter, Major Samson, Lt.Hormi, RCM Rajapeyu Tiarson, RCM Andrew, RCM Ayo, RCM Rhabeitho, RCM Lokho, RCM Soul, regional chairman P Caiphas, SO Rajapeyu Nathan, Sgt Major Ishmael and PS to Peter H Vio.
The public notice was being issued against the pronounced and absconding criminals and for public cooperation to apprehend and prosecute the offenders at large.
The outfit further said that it is disgraceful on the part of NSCN (IM) to welcome the expelled criminals into their fold and dubbed it a complete contradiction to the joint declaration to stamp out crimes.
Providing refuge to absconding abductors rather than prosecuting the same is in fact not less than being a collaborator in the crime.
Such inconsistencies clearly indicate desperate and cheap elements attempting to deceive the Nagas in the garb of nationalists, it claimed.
The notice further stated that the Nagas are once again being reminded of sheer criminalisation of the noble cause by unscrupulous sections that openly patronise and abet antisocial activities.
It is now left to the Nagas to judge the true purpose and intent of such public spectacles being enacted by self acclaimed nationalists, added the notice.
Besides, the NSCN/GPRN (K) has informed the public to correspond official matters to newly appointed Shepoumaram regional Chairman Mr Sanii.
Meanwhile, the president of the group SS Khaplang conveys warm and joyous Christmas wishes to every fellow Nagas spread across the globe.
The president, to ensure true spirit of Christmas celebration, has directed both the people's army units and civil set up to maintain utmost restrain even in the face of provocations and threats especially during the much anticipated and heralded birth of the 'prince of peace; to the world.
