Imphal, January 04 2023: Even though 79 samples were tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, no positive case was detected.

As such, the cumulative number of positive cases stands at 1,39,924 .

The death toll too remains unchanged at 2149 as there was no report of Covid related death from any part of the State during the last 24 hours.

With no report of discharge or recovery, there are still two active cases at present.

So far, 32,65,986 doses of Covid vaccines have been administered in the Stat1e although no one was vaccinated on Tuesday.

Considering the recent surge in Covid-19 cases in some countries due to the BF 7 variant, the Covid-19 Common Control Room has appealed to the public to get complete doses of vaccination and follow Covid appropriate behaviour such as wearing masks, maintaining social distance and washing hands frequently.
