Four State students arrested for murder : Culture varsity to debut with 4 depts

Four students, hailing from Manipur and studying in different educational institutes of Deh-radun, were arrested by the state capital police on Saturday for allegedly murdering a person in the Kehri village under Prem Nagar police station.
All four were produced before Court, which sent them to jail.
The controversy had kicked off after the four were found urinating on the boundary wall of a house owned by Kishore Kumar in the Kehri village around 1 am.
Kishore and his friends Arjun, Manish, Rahul and Gaurav, who were celebrating the arrival of New Year objected to the issue and after a minor tussle chased away the students.
However, sometime later, the students returned with their friends and attacked Kishore and others present in the house.
While others escaped with minor injuries, Arjun suffered head injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Prem Nagar area.
After being given some stitches in the head, he returned back home.
His health deteriorated in the late night hours and was rushed to Doon hospital, from where he was taken to a private hospital.
Atjun, however, expired before reaching the hospital.
Station Officer Prem Nagar, Prem Saini told TOI, "We worked on the case and found the details of four students.
We found that they all were from State of Manipur and were studying in different institutes of Dehradun." The four were arrested on Saturday and produced before court that sent them to 14-day judicial custody.
The four arrested have been identified as Bemandnan Gotebum, Norem Maalem, Magdi Sang Gyankoner and Mesnath Ronald Numbang (all from Manipur).
On Friday morning, locals in large numbers gathered at the Prem Nagat police station and demanded the immediate arrest of the accused.
On the complaint made by Aijun's family, a case under section 302 (murder) and 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) against the accused.
