Imphal, August 01 2016:
Putting forward a charter of demands, the Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM) has submitted a memorandum to the Governor.
Copies of the memorandum were also submitted to the Chief Minister, the Chief Justice and the MPSC Secretary.
It demanded disclosure of the cut-off mark for all categories regarding the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) Preliminary Exam 2016 .
Candidates belonging to reserved category who qualify in the general category on the basis of their own merits should be included in the general lists/unreserved category and they should not be counted against the reserved category of SC/OBC/ST.
It demanded the authorities concerned to give a clear cut/definite list of those who qualified from reserved category (OBC/SC/ST/DAP) in the open unreserved category along with their mark statements.
To maintain uniform principle of 1:13 as per Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination Rules 2010 in the quantum of reservation for all categories and not adopt different yardsticks for each category was another demand raised by the TYCM.
It further demanded compensation/reimbursement of the expenditure incurred by the candidates caused by the negligence of MPSC.
