JP Nadda to land at Imphal on Oct 8

Imphal, September 30 2021:
BJP National president JP Nadda would arrive at Imphal on a three-day visit to the State on October 8 .
Ahead of the BJP president's visit to the State, Chief Minister N Biren and BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sarda left Imphal for New Delhi this afternoon on the invitation of BJP National leaders.
Interestingly, Works Minister Th Biswajit who is also a key leader of BJP State unit and BJP Secretary Organisation (Manipur and Nagaland) Abhay Kumar Giri would also leave Imphal for Delhi tomorrow, sources informed.
According to the sources, Chief Minister N Biren, BJP State unit president A Sarda, Works Minister Th Biswajit and BJP Secretary Organisation (Manipur and Naga- land) were urgently invited to Delhi by JP Nadda.
JP Nadda would hold a meeting with four of them at 4 pm tomorrow.
Apart from talking about the BJP National president's visit to Manipur, the meeting would deliberate on the forthcoming Manipur State Assembly election, said the sources.
A tentative programme of JD Nadda's visit to Imphal has been already prepared and the same would be discussed at tomorrow's meeting.
Nonetheless, what JP Nadda would do at Imphal, which projects would be inaugurated and which foun- dation stones would be laid would be finalised at tomorrow's meeting, informed the sources.
The party's poll strategy and other details for the Manipur Legislative Assembly election which is due early next year would be deliberated at length at
the meeting.
A list of the politicians who left their parent parties and approached BJP ahead of the election would be laid before the BJP National president and the State BJP leaders would seek approval of JP Nadda for their entry into BJP, the sources added.
