Imphal, January 28 2022: BJP Sagolband Mandal has urged the party leadership to give party ticket only to loyal member of the party, who has been working relentlessly for the welfare of the party for long.

Addressing a press meet at its Sega Road Takhellambam Leikai office on Friday, mandal president Dr H Ruhikanta Sharma said that BJP is a cadre-based party and the Mandal has been following all the decisions of the party leadership without questioning.

The party also has firm belief in nationalism, national integration, democracy, secularism, value-based politics and Gandhian socialism.

The mandal strongly believes that the party leadership will definitely choose the intending candidate, who has been working for improving the party's strength but not to some new entrants, he said.

Dr H Ruhikanta also decried circulation of a fake list of candidates for BJP on social media and appealed to all not to believe in such misleading information seemingly intended to create enmity among the political workers.
