Army rescues accident victims

Imphal, January 20 2022:
Troops of Spear Corps of Indian Army rescued two accident victims from a 150 metres deep gorge on January 18 in Migging, Upper Siang district in Arunachal Pradesh.
In a release, PRO (DW) informed that a civil truck in which both victims were travelling went out of the driver's control and fell off the road into a gorge near Migging.
The detachment of Indian Army present at Migging rescued the accident victims.
Later the victims were provided first aid by a civil nurse at Migging and further referred to Govt Hospital at Yingkiong for treatment by a civil ambulance.
The swift action by the Army was highly appreciated by the Civil Administration and locals, it added.
