Anish Ahmed readies for Environment Awareness Run

Bishnupur, March 13 2023: Emerging environment activist Anish Ahamad is all set to embark on his 8th Environmental Awareness Marathon Cam paign from the national capital, New Delhi, under the supervision of Department of Forest, Government of Delhi.

In this regard, the young activist met with officials of Chief Conservator of Delhi Forest Department, Deputy Chief Conservator of Forest and Wildlife inspector of Del -hi Forest Department to map out the route he would be running through.

The Delhi Forest Department warmly felicitated Anish, who also gifted Manipur's Leirum cloth to the Chief Conservator of Forest, Delhi.

Anish, after running the marathon campaign through majority of Delhi, would hold an environmental awareness and interaction programme with school students of Delhi.

It may be mentioned here that Anish had previously carried out environment awareness campaigns in the northeast states of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura successfully.
