YAS Minister extends help to villages of Sajik Tampak

YAS Minister Letpao Haokip distributed one bag of rice each and provided monetary aid of Rs 500 each to households in the villages of Sajik Tampak in Chandel district.
The Minister extended help to the villagers in view of the hardships faced by them due to the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in the State.
A public meeting was also held at Kana Community Hall today organised by KSO Kana Block and Kuki Chief Association, Chandel adhering to Covid SOPs.
Many chiefs of the villages of Sajik Tampak attended the meeting.
Addressing the gathering, Letpao Haokip gave assurance of releasing a fund of Rs 30 lakh (Thirty lakh) for the repairing of bridge above the Imphal River as requested by the villagers.
He also appealed the locals to get vaccinated at the earliest and not to believe in any false rumours regarding the Covid vaccine since it has been approved by World Health Organisation (WHO).
He stressed on the need to strictly adhere to Covid SOPs and protocols issued by the State to protect oneself from COVID-19 and to contain the further spread of the pandemic.
Also a free medical camp was conducted by the doctors and staff of the Medical team and MR.Free medicines were also given to the villagers during the medical camp.
