Ashok Veilou's 'Look at the Sky' screened

In the special Golden Jubilee of Manipuri Cinema package at the ongoing 53rd IFFI in Panjim, Goa, young Poumai film maker Ashok Veilou's documentary film 'Look at the Sky' was screened on Thursday.
Ashok Veilou is the only tribal film maker from Manipur who is taking part in the festival.
His film 'Look at the Sky' was screened at INOX complex, wherein he was also felicitated before screening of the film.
Ashok Veilou hails from Purul in Senapati district and he is only 28 years old.
He is a graduate from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTII) in film design, direction and screenplay.
He has also completed graduation in mass communication and video production from St Anthony College, Shillong.
Filmed in 2018, Ashok Veilou's 'Look at the Sky' is a 30-minute long documentary in Poumai dialect and it won Golden Royal Tiger Award in Kolkata International Film Festival-2018 .
