Medical aid extended

Imphal, October 20 2021:
Churachandpur Battalion of IGAR (S) extended medical assistance to a grievously injured persons of S Khollen village in Churachandpur district on Tuesday.
According to PRO IGAR (S), Zomi Mother Association secretary Alimoi (39) of S Munneuam village, assistant information secretary Dimngaihlu (38) of Kanaan veng New Lamka, Zomi Youth Association president Thangsianbiak (52) and secretary Lianzalal (43) of Gocinkhup veng New Lamka met with a road accident and sustained severe injuries.
They were immediately taken to the Assam Rifles Detachment P Sejol and rendered necessary medical aid and stabilised their condition.
The Battalion also provided life-saving medical treatment to a snake bite victim of Veng in Churachandpur district on Tuesday.
A 40-year old man bitten by a venomous snake was brought to medical facility of HQ Veng of Churachandpur Battalion Assam Rifles, the PRO said in another release.
Assam Rifles Medical Care Centre immediately rendered lifesaving medical aid to the victim and stabilised his condition.
He was referred to District Hospital Churachandpur for further treatment, it added.
