Pre-recruitment awareness, mock test conducted

To guide the youth fulfil their ambitions, Loktak Battalion of IGAR (South) on Sunday organised "awareness campaign" on various entries in Indian Army as Agniveer, Central Armed Police Forces and other government and semi government sectors at Komlakhong, Phoubakchao and Konuma villages in Bishnupur district.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the Battalion took the opportunity as an initiative to gather around 45 local youths for counselling and registration session.
The Battalion also assured the youth all kinds of assistance including free registration, theoretical classes, training of computer skills, physical training and communication skills.
Meanwhile, Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted physical and mock tests as part of the ongoing pre-recruitment training of young aspirants willing to join Indian Armed Forces at COB Litan in Ukhrul district on Monday.
According to the PRO, the aim of the test was to create awareness among the youth about the efforts required to pass the physical test and written exam.
The event gave a reality check to the individuals about their potential and the sense of improvement for future.
A total of 21 candidates appeared for the tests.
