31 new cases, three deaths in Bishnupur

Bishnupur, May 10 2021:
Bishnupur district recorded 31 new Covid-19 cases and three fatalities in the past 24 hours taking the district's cumulative number of infected persons to 1768, including 33 personnel of central forces.
With the addition of the three casualties, pandemic has claimed the lives of 57 denizens of the district till date.
According to an update of the District Information Officer (DIO) on Monday, the 31 new cases included 18 males and 13 females from among the general population.
The number of patients who recovered from the infectious disease has reached 1484 while 227 persons are still undergoing treatment in the district's Covid Care Centre (59) and home isolation (117) while 51 denizens are admitted in hospitals out of the district as referred or opted by the patients.
On the other-hand, the number of Covid-19 patients on oxygen support is 16.A total of 46 oxygen cylinders (D-type- 25 and B-type-21) have been made available to the district as of date, of which 5 D-type oxygen cylinders are currently in use, added the DIO.
