Raksha bandhan celebrated

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated by Prajapati Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya in Moreh by tying the sacred Rakhi to the troops of Moreh Battalion of Assam Rifles on Thursday.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that blessing for security and prosperity of all the troops Assam Rifles were given by the Brahma Kumaris on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) on Thursday celebrated Raksha Bandhan at Chingmeirong, Singjamei and Sawombung COBs to strengthen the bond and commitment with the local populace.
The festival was celebrated with a total of 10 local women who visited Assam Rifles posts.
Keithelmanbi Battalion of IGAR (South) interacted with wife of late Rfn/GD B Sani and provided financial assistance through voluntary contribution of all ranks in Imphal West district on Thursday on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The interaction was followed by Arinii tying Rakhi to the commandant as a solemn gesture by her acknowledging the brotherly concern showed by all ranks of the Battalion.
