No application form burnt: Caretaker chairman

In connection with the news report of ATSUM volunteers burning application forms for various posts to be recruited under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi, the caretaker chairman on Thursday clarified that not a single application form submitted to the office was damaged or burnt.
Informing that all application forms submitted by candidates for the said recruitment drive are safe and secure, he elaborated that during the time of form submission, all possible efforts were made by volunteers of ATSUM to .damage/seize the submitted application forms but due to the alertness of office staff and timely intervention and cooperation of district police, possible damage to the application forms was prevented.
The caretaker chairman also said that applicants may visit the office to check the status of their documents.
Mention may be made here that volunteers of KSO Sadar Hills endorsing the All Tribal Students' Union Manipur's decision to halt the ongoing recruitment process of 750 posts in the six Autonomous District Councils had burnt many documents, which they claimed, were the submitted application forms for various posts under Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council on Wednesday.
