Moreh denizen conferred doctorate in Chinese language

Expressing happiness over con ferment of doctorate degree in Chinese language to Dr Yengkhom Ronica Devi of Moreh recently by China's Yunan University, Meetei Council Moreh (MCM) said that Dr Ronica Devi has set the example of success through hard-work and determination.
According to MCM president M Thoiba Singh, Dr Ronica's father Mani Singh and mother Brajeshwari Devi are actually from Kakching but reside in the border town to raise their children by working as private school teachers.
Their hard work for success of their children paid off with the award of doctorate degree to Dr Ronica Devi recently, he said, adding that Ronica grew up as a resilient girl.
After conferment of the doctorate degree, Dr Ronica Devi is continuing further research at China-India People to People Exchange Centre, China under the guidance of professors Yu Xinli and Cai Chunyang.
The centre was jointly established under Yunnan Minzu University and Jawaharlal Nehru University on June 28, 2018.Professor Yu Xinli is director of the centre and professor Cai Chinyang distinguished researcher.
