Imphal, September 11 2022: Under the theme "Share Your Love by Donating Blood", Lions Club of Imphal Greater organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Don Bosco College, Maram on Saturday during which 74 units of blood were collected from students of the College.

According to Lions Club of Imphal Greater, the camp was organised in association with Blood Bank & Transfusion Unit, JNIMS and NSS Unit of Don Bosco College, Maram.

The Maram event was the 31st edition of the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp organised by Lions Club of Imphal Greater.

Club president L Upendro Sharma encouraged the donors and commended them for leading support to the noble cause and also acknowledged the role of teachers and students of the College in the project.

Chairperson of the project Dr K Surjit Singh Said that Lion Clubs around the world have been organising mass blood donation camp as a signature programme.

He also expressed his gratitude to the principal and students of Don Bosco College, Maram for extending cooperation to the humanitarian service.
