Anti-drug body's office inaugurated

Thoubal, October 30 2022:
An office of Manipur Anti-Drugs Association (MADA), which was recently formed with the objective to fight drug menace in the state under the supervision of Lilong AC MLA, Thoubal SP, Lilong PS OC and Luong Assam Rifles post, has been inaugurated on Sunday at Lilong Khunou, Thoubal.
The inaugural programme was attended by Kshetrigao MLA Noorul Hassan, Lilong Assam Rifles post captain Irfan Khan, Lilong Panchayat ZP candidate Nasir alias Amu, Lilong ward no 6 councillor Abdul Barik and MADA president Suhaib alias Noushad as presidium members.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, MADA president Suhaib appealed to the people to support the war on drugs campaign launched by CM N Biren and save the people from drug menace He urged the people to help the association in its initiatives against drugs and other addictive substances.
During the inaugural programme, Buyamayum Suhaib was appointed as president, NM Sagir as vice president, Khul-lakpam Azimmuddin as general secretary of the association among others.
