Aid provided, medical camp organised

Imphal, June 28 2022:
Modi Battalion of IGAR (S) on Tuesday extended helping hand to a local of Anthi village in Chandel district whose Tata truck which was stuck on a track junction near the village.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the owner of the vehicle after exhausting all his means of recovery approached Assam Rifles for assistance and consequently a recovery vehicle was sent to retrieve the truck.
On the other-hand, Khoupum Battalion of IGAR (S) conducted a medical camp and tree plantation drive at Zouyangtek village in Noney district on Tuesday.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that camp was organised to provide medical checkup and treatment to those who have no access to basic healthcare services.
Medical team of Assam Rifles carried out health checkup of 109 villagers at the camp which culminated with distribution and plantation of 218 saplings to promote afforestation.
