Health camp pays tribute to first doctor of Kakching

Kakching, April 28 2023:
To commemorate the second death anniversary of Dr Naorem Achouba Singh, the first doctor of Kakching, a free health camp was organised at YM School Central Public Hall, Kakching Ningthou Leikai here on Friday.
A total of 300 people were screened at the camp sponsored by family members of Dr Achouba and organised by Ideal Pioneers Club, Kakching Ningthou Leikai in collaboration with Seva Bharati Manipur, NMO Manipur, Leima Chanu Nawa Tengbang Lup, Manipur and Bharat Vikas Parishad, Manipur Prant.
Medicines were also distributed free of cost to those in need.
The camp was attended by RIMS Hospital medical superintendent Prof N San-jib Singh, deputy director N Indrakumar, professor AK Joy, professor Sachin Deva and Prof AD Sharma among others also had stalls for Medicine, Ortho, Gynae, ENT, Neuro Surgery, Cardio and Surgery.
Speaking on the side-lines, Dr Achouba's wife Bashumati and son N Indrakumar informed that the camp was organised with the aim to provide basic healthcare service to the locals, as helping the poor and needy was always a passion of Dr Achouba.
