Mass Covid vaccination camps held

Imphal, July 27 2021:
Committee of Civil Societies Kangleipak (CCSK) in association with Union of Private Rehabilitation Centre Kangleipak (UPRECK) under the aegis of Imphal West District Commissioner continued the mass Covid vaccination and advocacy programme in private rehabilitation centres across the State.
As a part of the programme, altogether 62 inmates of Reborn Drug De addiction Centre and Hingminashi Drug De Addiction Centre in Langol Zone III were inoculated with Covid vaccine today, said a press release by UPRECK.
Similar programmes will be held at Imphal West district tomorrow, added the statement.
The organising committee also thanked the DCs of respective districts, team of Health Department and police personnel who have been supporting the programme.
Further the committee appealed the centres concerned to register in UPRECK to avail the benefits of such programmes and to strive for a Covid free State.
A mass Covid vaccination drive for the locals of Maiba Khul of Koirengei and Mongjam was held today organised by COVID-19 Task Force Maiba Khul in coordination with adhyakshya of Imphal East P Bimola and pradhan of Nilakuthi Gram Panchayat, Th Roshni.
Around 300 locals were inoculated with the first and second dose of Covid vaccine in today's drive.
Speaking on the sidelines, P Bimola appealed all eligible individuals to get vaccinated and to strictly follow Covid SOPs and protocol to stay protected from COVID-19 .
