Thoubal, August 09 2021:
Refuting the claim of BJP Heirok Mandal that people of Heirok were involved in the demolition of the building of Community Health Centre (CHC), Heirok to denounce lack of quality control in its construction, Nongpok Nganba Youth Development Association (NNYDA) has clarified that the incident is not related with the people of Heirok in anyway.
Speaking to media persons, NNDYA secretary L Kishan said that neither clubs of the nearby area including NNYDA and EBC were informed nor had given any approval for the demolition of the building, which was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore.
If BJP Heirok Mandal spokesperson Phuritsabam Dineshor fails to identify the people of Heirok who were allegedly involved in dismantling the CHC, then it would not be wrong to assert that the building was demolished by BJP Heirok Mandal, he remarked.
"How could people destroy the centre using JCB bulldozer and where are the materials that were destroyed?" Kishan questioned, while maintaining that BJP Heirok Mandal should stop making false claims that will tarnish the image of Heirok people.
Lauding AMSU Thoubal district for investigating into the demolition of the hospital building before inauguration, Kishan said that local clubs will support every move of the students' body for the progress and development of the hospital.
