Relief items distributed, medical camp held

Heirok MLA Thokchom Radheshyam's family members on Sunday distributed essential items at the relief centre opened at Heirok Higher Secondary School by Relief Committee, Heirok.
The aid was handed over MLA's father 711 Ibochouba to the Relief Committee.
On the other hand, Peace and Relief Committee, Heirok conducted a free med-ical camp at the said centre under the aegis of MLA Radheshyam and in collaboration with CHC, Heirok.
In all, 51 displaced persons including 17 females and 25 children staying in the centre were examined and free medicines provided by CHC to the needy.
Meanwhile, Khangabok Kendra Young Farmers Development Organisation pres-ident & District Pharmaceutical and En-trepreneurship Organisation, Thoubal president Dr Akoisana provided essential items and Rs 3000 cash to the relief camp opened at Khangabok Higher Secondary School, which is housing around 170 dis-placed persons.
A free health camp was also organised by Indian Medical Association -South East Manipur (IMA-SEM) Branch in association with Jivan Hospital, Kakching at the relief camp opened by Committee for Peace and Social Harmony at Kakching Higher Secondary School, on Sunday.
Altogether, 100 people were provided free health check up at the camp along with handing over free medicines.
Meanwhile, social worker Naorem Nabachandra donated Rs 10,000 to the relief camp opened at the School.
