Workshop on YES!+ concludes

Imphal, October 02 2022: A 6-day workshop on Youth Empowerment and Skill (YES!+) organised by The Art o'f Living in association with Manipur University (MU) culminated at the Department of Teacher Education, MU on Saturday.

According to a press release by The Art of Living, Imphal state media coordinator Dr K Romeo Meetei, MU registrar Prof W Chand babu lauded the work taken up the Department of Teacher Education and noted that The Art of Living has been helping the students put their turbulent thoughts to rest and teaching them various life skills.

Dr K Romeo, who is also the programme coordinator, explained how students and youth can take control of the negative issues in their life which affected them both mentally and physically through mind management, including techniques, breathing and physical exercises.

Many students have been able to give up bad habits such as addiction and overcome mental issues with the help of The Art of Living.

Many with asthma, hypertension and insomnia have become better through various courses provided by The Art of Living.

The Art of Living resource person Laishram Dickson said that there are many examples supporting the organisation's benefits to the human body and went on to explain the core philosophy and ways to live, a healthy life.

He also wished for more such programmes to be organised in the future for the sake of students, the release conveyed.
