BMS observes 67th foundation day

The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS); Manipur State observed its 67th foundation day at GM Hall, here; today.
The observance was graced by Power Minister Thongam Biswajit; Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Manipur State president Loukrakpam Sanantombi Devi and Saha Sangathan Mantri, Manipur-Nagaland, BMS (in-charge) Namoijam Tomba Singh as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
At the occasion, Th Biswajit stated that Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh was founded by Late Dattopant Thengadi who was also a prominent member of RSS on July 23, 1955.The Minister stated that Dattopant Thengadi was a leader who initiated several activities for the farmers and poor.
Continuing that the majority of the trade unions in the world are affiliated to the International Trade Union but 'BMS is an exception and it instead has 37 unions attached to it, the Minister maintained that BJP is able to achieve many feats and create unity due to the support of RSS.
Biswajit then assured that the State Government will strive to uplift the labourers who are working in different departments.
Maintaining that the majority of the workforce in the Labour Department are youth, the Minister opined that there is no shortage of work for skilled individuals.
