JD-U condoles demise of ex-president

Imphal, January 16 2022:
The Janata Dal (United) national president and Lok Sabha MP Rajeev Ranjan alias Lalan Singh held a virtual condolence meeting on Sunday on the demise of JD-U Manipur former working president Azizul Haque Khan.
National office secretary Mohammad Nisar said in a statement that North East general secretary in-charge Afaque Ahmad Khan, JD-U general secretary Harshvardhan Singh, NEEC convenors NSN Lotha and Anil Hegde, Manipur president Hangkhanpao Taithul, and executives Dorendro Singh and Rabikant Meitei also attended the meeting; during which national president Rajeev recounted contributions made by Azizul Haque for the party and people of Manipur and expressed heartfelt condolences to his grieving family.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar also remembered Azizul Haque Khan, who was' his class fellow in NIT Patna and recalled that Azizul joined department of water resources, Manipur and retired as chief engineer.
He (Azizul) joined Janata Dal (United) Manipur unit after retirement and worked for the development of Manipur, said Nitish Kumar in his condolence message and expressed solidarity to the bereaved family in their hour of crisis.
