Sit-in protests berating of MLA Arunkumar

Imphal, May 15 2022: Condemning the alleged use of foul language against Wangkhei A/C MLA Thangjam Arunkumar when he went to assess the situation after a bomb exploded at Telipati on May 13, residents of Khurai Ahongei Leikai staged sit-in protest at the local community hall on Sunday.

Speaking on the sidelines of the protest, one Konthoujam Bimolata condemned the bomb attack in residential area and further appealed against repeating such aet in future.

She further denounced the use of foul language against MLA Arunkumar by some people of Telipati when the MLA went to enquire about the post-blast situation as representative of the people.

Those who used such foul words against the MLA who is representing the constituency should apologise at the earliest, she demanded.
