Sky Hospital treats man with PSVT

Sky Hospital and Research Centre Private Limited has successfully treated a 47-year old man with Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia (PSVT) after the man had an unsuccessful treatment in a major hospital outside the state.
The patient, A Ajit of Sagolband, had a condition called PSVT in which the rhythm of the heart is abnormal.
The treatment needed for such condition is a specialised treatment procedure called Electrophysiology Studies (EPS) and Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA).
In the hospital outside the state, Ajit had underwent EPS+RFA treatment but it was not successful.
He was told to undergo the procedure for a second time but returned home and got admitted to Sky Hospital on October 20 last year after he heard of the hospital carrying out similar treatment procedure.
The treatment was conducted on the next day.
During his regular check up on December 2 this year, Ajit told the doctor that he no longer experience the condition.
According to Sky Hospital chief cardiologist Dr L Shyamkishore, the first EPS+RFA of the hospital was conducted in July, 2015 and since then, the hospital has been conducting this specialised treatment.
Besides, the hospital has been providing world class diagnosis and treatment to its patient, he said while urging the public to consult Sky Hospital before going to major hospitals in other states, which would entail huge expenses.
